Day Stringing Turnaround

Head Prestige Tour tennis racquet is a player's frame for the modern game. Previously the Head Prestige Pro, the new Head Prestige Tour tennis racquet delivers a 95 square inch racquet head with a 16x19 string pattern making this a precise choice for advanced players. While not the heaviest Prestige, the Head Prestige Tour carries plenty of weight to play with powerful players that hit heavy shots. Stable throughout the frame, the Head Prestige Tour features new technologies that give you solid but responsive playability. Head incorporates Graphene Inside, an adaption of Graphene 360+ technology providing great weight distribution and energy return to players. Added to the Head Prestige Tour's throat is Auxetic construction. Auxetic creates a more flexible and responsive racquet, providing players with great feedback that pairs perfectly with the thin beam and box frame design of the Prestige series. At first glance, the Head Prestige Tour calls upon its heritage with a 1980's inspired Bordeaux cosmetic making this a performance powerhouse and head-turner. Maneuverable and designed for players to get precision and feedback on the court, the revamped Head Prestige Tour tennis racquet carries the Prestige torch for a new generation of players.

PLEASE NOTE: Head has updated the Prestige silo and this racquet was previously known as the Head Prestige Pro

    Racquet nobody talks about

You barely see this racquet in tennis clubs. Very plush, very stable. It requires solid technique. String pattern is fairly tight in the middle. Feels like somewhere between 16x19 and 18x20 When you look at specs it is sort of similar to Djoko's racquet. Overall excellent frame!!!! 95sq 5pts headlight 22mm beam

Does it suit high level club player?

Well engineered racquet with plush feel. String tensions I tried so far = 46 lbs, 49 lbs, 52 lbs, 54 lbs. 46lbs is a little low unless you can swing very fast. The swing weight is very high and only 5pts headlight. I tried to bring it closer to 8pts headlight with a leather grip but the overall mass was too much for me. I eventually settled on 2g lead under the hydrosorb grip and 1g lead in the throat for stability/balance with about 1g split between 3 and 9 in the head. That's the maximum customisation I could handle. Gives lots of power, esp. on one handed backhand, and feel is very good for drop shots and stop volleys.
