The added flex of this frame comes from Yonex's updated technology and frame geometry. In the frame layup, Yonex introduces its FlexCon System, a tapered box-frame design and long shaft to provide more flex. FlexCon combines Flex Force Graphite for flex and snapback with Flex Fuse Graphite for flex and a softer feel. The higher racquet flex creates longer ball contact and more feedback to give you better trajectory and placement control. The Yonex VCORE Pro 97 (310g) features Yonex's signature Isometric technology delivering a larger string bed sweet spot compared to a conventional head shape design. Adding to the Yonex VCORE Pro 97's power potential is a Lock Booster Grommet System. This grommet rib structure is strategically placed to increase string contact and reduce energy loss while elongating the strings for a larger sweet spot. The Yonex VCORE Pro 97 (310g) continues to play with excellent control and feel from previous generations but with enhanced flex and snapback. Effective from all areas of the court, the Yonex VCORE Pro 97 (310g) has great spin potential on groundstrokes from its mid plus Isometric head size and 16x19 string pattern.
