Yonex brings a fresh cosmetic to the VCORE line for 2024. The Sand Beige brings a unique colorway not common in the tennis world, and they nailed it. The 2023/2024 version of the Yonex VCORE 98L introduces a softer feel and new geometric design to increase space in the hitting zone around the upper hoop. This translates to increased stability and a larger sweet spot. The geometrics of the frame design have also been reconfigured to enhance the feel of the racquet. Additional features for the 7th generation include SIF grommets which are a silicone oil infusion to reduce friction between the string and the grommet. This basically means the string can move with less interruption, allowing for crisper feel and increased access to power. Compared to the 6th generation, the stiffness is lower, which provides extra feel and less shock to the arm. Continuing on from the previous generation, the 2-NAMD FlexForce Graphite gives this racquet uniform flex at the top and lower ends of the racquet. With a 98 square inch head, this racquet is typically used by a baseliner, but even those who attack from the net will like the punch this gives on volleys. The 285g weight makes this a compatible racquet for intermediate players, but heavy enough for low-advanced players with long swing.

Technologies
O7VCORE New Throat Design
Minimal power loss at impact through the efficient transfer of energy.
Enlarged Frame Top
1.9% wider frame at the 2 o’clock and 10 o’clock position increases the ball contact area, which produces a higher launch angle.
Silicone Oil Infused Grommet
silicone oil infused within the grommet allows the racquet to quickly flex and snapback into its original position.
ISOMETRIC
located in all YONEX racquets, a square-shaped design that increases the sweet spot by 7% by optimizing the intersection of the main and cross strings.
2G-Namd Flex Force
located in VCORE, incorporated in the upper throat to the lower frame, new Flex Force graphite allows for the racquet to quickly flex and snapback for maximum spin potential.
Aero Fin Technology
located in VCORE, located above the throat; creates a faster, thinner frame for increased ball pocketing.
VDM (Vibration Dampening Mesh)
A stretchy mesh material is wrapped around the graphite within the grip to filter unwanted vibrations for added touch and precision.
