Yonex EZONE 98 (7th Gen.) continues to deliver power and fast racquet head speed. The Yonex EZONE 98 tennis racquet plays with an excellent feel thanks to the new shaft design that promotes improved stability and power. The new shaft design has a thicker shaft structure with a convex design to reduce racquet torque on off-centered shots. The new design and improved stability add to the Yonex EZONE 98's impressive power. The Aero Shaped Design of the racquet provides a plush feel thanks to its tapered design with a thinner frame face creating a softer feeling racquet despite the racquet's flex in the mid 60's. As players play through shot impact Yonex's Oval Pressed Shaft flexes at impact for increased ball dwell time on the string bed. The Yonex EZONE 98 has a frame layup made of High Modulus Graphite, 2G-NAMD Speed, and Vibration Dampening Mesh (VDM). The H.M. Graphite and 2G-NAMD Speed graphite provide enhanced feel and response for players while also improving overall speed. VDM, a stretchy mesh material wrapped around the racquet handle's inner graphite, filters unwanted vibrations making the Yonex EZONE 98 one of the brand's most comfortable racquets to date. Dialed in and perfectly suited for intermediate to advanced players, the Yonex EZONE 98 tennis racquet features a very maneuverable strung weight thanks to its headlight balance while the signature Yonex Isometric head shape increases the string bed's sweet spot. Players looking to unleash powerful groundstrokes and booming serves can play with plenty of confidence with this generation of the Yonex EZONE 98. Stable at net thanks to its flex rating and shaft design, this racquet can stand up to heavy hitters and redirect power without sacrificing comfort in your hand and arm making the Yonex EZONE 98 tennis racquet far beyond ordinary.

I recommend this product

1 downside

I like ordering from Racquet Guys, always quick. I ordered this racquet over a long weekend and still got the racquet very quickly. The Ezone 98 is a really nice racquet. Doesn’t take much for me to generate topspin on my forehand and back hand. Hitting powerfully and confidently knowing that it will generate the top spin and drop into the court. I’ve made a lot of nice shots since I’ve gotten this racquet. It took about a week to get used to the racquet. When you get a new racquet, you gotta take time to really work with it and get a lot of reps in. and what it I can do with it but once you hit the spot, it’s good I paired it with an orange Poly Rev strings at 52 pound string tension. The only downside would be the price. I think it’s a little out there for price. 4/5 stars
