Description

Head has developed an adaptive racquet that can be altered to suit your game. The Speed Adaptive racquet comes with a pre-installed 16x19 string pattern and standard 27 inch length but can be adapted with the Adaptive Speed Tuning Kit (sold separately). In the kit are three additional grommet sets, three spacer rings for additional length and an additional butt cap for added tail weight. The racquet comes in stock form with lightweight 16x19 string pattern grommets installed but can be exchanged for heavier 16x19 grommets, light 16x16 grommets or heavier 16x16 grommets. To alter the length and balance of the racquet, players can easily remove the replacement grip and racquet handle pallets. The kit comes with three spacer rings that can be used for additional length (each spacer is .2 inches = max .6 inches). Once the grip and pallet are removed you can replace the butt cap with the heavier one (0.35 oz./10 grams). After the butt cap is chosen and installed, players can re-pallet the racquet and re-grip it, then Head off to the court. There are up to 32 different options available to you so that you can adapt the racquet, not your game.

Adaptive String Pattern (ASP)

Allows racquet to be strung with 2 different patterns (16~19 and 16~16) utilizing two exchangeable grommet inserts. Changing the number of cross strings changes the spacing between the strings in the center of the sweet spot. This gives the player options making the racquet adaptable to what they want.
