Description
Perfect for the attacking, front-court player who is seeking more touch, the Head Speed 120 2023 has been upgraded with Auxetic construction for sensational feel. Endorsed by Saurav Ghosal and Olivia Fiechter, and engineered with some of HEAD’s most advanced technologies, this racquet has also been refreshed with a modern, new design with metallic, earthy tones.
Along with the Octagonal Power Technology in the shaft that improves playability, the ultra-modern 120g frame comes with Stringbed X-Tension Technology which increases rebound for additional power. The technologies also include HEAD's Adaptive Fan Pattern, which allows you to choose between a straight string pattern for more power or a special fan-shaped pattern for enhanced control, while the teardrop-shaped frame allows for extra power.
STRINGING NOTE: This racquet comes pre-strung in a standard string pattern. If you are including stringing to your purchase please indicate whether you would like standard 12x17 or fan 16x17 in the Additional Comments section of your cart.

Technologies
GRAPHENE INSIDE
Strategically positioned in most of our racquets. Graphene strengthens the frame, provides greater stability and optimizes energy transfer from racquet to ball.
Auxetic
Auxetic constructions show a unique deformation compared to non-Auxetic constructions. Due to their internal properties, Auxetic constructions widen when a “pull” force is applied and contract when squeezed. The bigger the applied force, the bigger the Auxetic reaction.
Octagonal Power Technology (OPT)
HEAD’s engineers have implemented the new Octagonal Power Technology into the shaft of the racquet which features more power and a solid feel through the octagonal shape of the construction.
Stringbed X-Tension
The groove in the upper part of the frame enlarges the space where the strings are able to move during ball contact. This enables an extended use of the trampoline effect and creates more acceleration. It gives you the extra power and ball speed you need to excel in your game.
AFP
More power or more control - now you can have it all in one squash racquet. The new Adaptive Fan Pattern (AFP) technology allows you to choose between two different pattern depending on your individual style of play and personal needs. You can choose between the straight string pattern to maximize your power game and the special fan-shaped pattern to optimize your ability to control the ball. The new AFP technology is available in the new Radical & Speed racquet series.
