Description
The Tecnifibre Carboflex X-TOP v2 125 squash racquet has been designed to unlock the swing speed of every player, making it ideal for high-level competitors and regular players alike. This racket is the icon of the Carboflex range, excelling in every performance category. Weighing just 125g, it ensures optimal maneuverability for rapid racquet head acceleration and maximum power. Its 500 cm² head strikes the perfect balance between power and stability. The racquet is strung with Dynamix VP polyurethane multifilament, Tecnifibre’s most responsive string, offering controlled handling and power.
The Carboflex X-TOP v2 range represents the pinnacle of innovation with the X-TOP patented technology. The traditional plastic bumper has been replaced by active fibres—a blend of aramid fibres, the most impact-resistant material, and a PTFE treatment for enhanced glide and frame protection. This new construction makes the racquet smoother, reducing air resistance for faster swing speed and increased power. The use of fibres instead of plastic also means less vibration and greater comfort, enhancing playability and responsiveness.
Designed with an Airshaft section, the racquet is more aerodynamic, promoting faster acceleration. The monoshaft design, reinforced with X-Arms, enhances stability and precision by reducing racquet flexibility. For added spin and off-centre shot tolerance, Extended String Hole technology enlarges 12 key eyelets on the frame to maximize string elasticity.
Endorsed by squash legends Mohamed el Shorbagy, Nour el Sherbini, and Nouran Gohar, the Carboflex X-TOP v2 is used by top players worldwide. These champions actively contribute to the development and evolution of Tecnifibre’s products, ensuring top-tier performance.
Tecnifibre aims to unleash every player’s potential, combining high performance with unique elegance. At TECNI-LAB, Tecnifibre applies a methodical approach—Identify, Quantify, Solve—to continuously enhance its products.
In squash, where 58% of shots are played in tight corners, swing speed is critical. TECNI-LAB has studied this extensively, showing that top players have faster swings. Based on this data, the Carboflex X-TOP v2 range was engineered to boost racquet acceleration for all levels of players.
This is the signature racquet of Mohamed El Shorbagy, designed for aggressive and attacking squash to put immense pressure on opponents as well as providing quick maneuverability.
