Description

Introducing the Wilson Defyer 98 Pro, the long awaited racquet that until now was known only as the Python. Designed for high level players who demand powerful, controllable spin to dominate from the baseline, the Defyer blends a 98 sq. in. headsize with a sub 320 swingweight to deliver more racquet head speed and effortless acceleration through contact.

At the heart of the Defyer is the Torq Shaft, an innovative throat design engineered to transfer energy more efficiently from your swing into the ball. The end result, easier access to pace, spin and an overall more explosive response without any extra effort.

And if the low swing weight wasn't enough, Wilson also introduced the Airfoil Bumper. Designed to reduce drag during the swing, the Airfoil Bumper helps you generate a faster swing for heavier spin as well as quick reactions on returns and volleys.

Finally, Wilson utilizes their SI3D technology to strategically vary the frames stiffness. The softer, more flexible hoop enhances ball pocketing and improves feel, while the stiffer throat helps increase power and spin.

The end result is a racquet that rewards modern, attacking tennis. Its maneuverable swingweight makes it easy to whip through the contact zone, while the 98-square-inch head provides the precision advanced players demand. Whether you're dictating from the baseline with heavy topspin or stepping inside the court to finish points, the Defyer 98 Pro offers the speed, confidence, and versatility to elevate your game.
