Description
The Wilson Vesper Control 17 Pickleball Paddle is a top choice for players who prioritize touch and placement without giving up power. Designed with a widebody shape, this paddle provides a generous sweet spot across its 7.75” width, making it easier to control dinks, resets, and blocks. The 17 mm polypropylene honeycomb core—paired with 360CellX foam isolation technology—softens impact and expands the responsive zone, giving you exceptional feedback and precision on every hit.
The raw carbon fiber face delivers incredible spin potential and touch, helping players add finesse to their soft game while still having the grit for aggressive topspin. Carbon OptiMax reinforces the paddle’s frame with premium composite layering, increasing strength and tightening shot accuracy. The handle, built with StableMax Tech, enhances torsional stability for a confident grip and a more connected feel at contact. And with FreeFlex Tech shaping the shaft, swing dynamics are optimized for a controlled, fluid motion.

FreeFlex Throat
Inspired by the mechanics of a racquet, the open throat design boosts aerodynamics and increases swing speed as the paddle cuts through the air and provides flexibility upon imact with the ball.
Thermoformed UniBody Design
Thermoforming is an advanced molding process that creates a unibody design, increasing the consistency and expanding the sweet spot of the paddle while adding more power.
Single Piece Construction
Single piece construction reduces variability, allowing for enhanced feedback and increased handle strength.
PU Foam Handle Insert
Specifically designed and molded PU foam insert placed in the handle enhances playability and comfort by providing a consistent feel in the grip.
