The Yonex ASTROX 99 Pro badminton racquet is a powerhouse designed for offensive and attacking players and is the racquet of choice for Kento Mamota. The Yonex ASTROX 99 Pro features an updated bumper, wider grommets and a modified isometric head shape to give you an edge. The Power-Assist Bumper is a tungsten infused weighted bumper that delivers more raw power. Heavier than conventional grommets, Power-Assist Bumper adds 55% more weight than conventional grommets to make smashes and attacking shots more devastating to your opponents by transferring more weight and speed into the shuttle. To make the overall racquet more forgiving and adaptable on defense, Yonex has included Wide Diameter Grommets and a modified Isometric head shape. Wide Diameter Grommets are larger grommets are strategically placed at 3 and 9 o'clock on the racquet head for more string movement and shuttle contact time. The modified Isometric head shape is wider in the 4 corners and strategically reinforced for stronger contact and creates a larger and more forgiving sweet spot.
