ProKennex Ovation Speed II (White)
Combining lightweight seed with ovation power, the ProKennex Ovation Speed II is a fearsome paddle for opponents. The shape design of the ProKennex Ovation Speed II gives this paddle elevated performance and an expanded sweet spot. The larger sweet spot creates more efficient energy transfer from Kinetic technology. The modified oval shape and Opti-Cell Core construction bring a higher percentage of mass to the paddle's center. The ProKennex Ovation Speed II has a 7 later complex carbon face with a Spin-Grab outer later surface for great power and control. A new Air-O-Guard is added to the ProKennex Ovation Speed II without compromising its speed and maneuverability. Thin, fast, and arm-friendly, the ProKennex Ovation Speed II is a fearsome paddle that's been upgraded with a new bumper system but keeps its edgeless design.

Excellent shock reduction
The racquet is heavier than expected but I am experiencing a lot less vibration in net game play.
ProKennex Ovation Speed II (White)
A friend had the same racquet, in a different colour, and I tried it first. I was surprised that the website technical info seemed to be borne out when I tried the Ovation Speed II, in that it seemed to be much easier on my joints than another racquet. I've been suffering from tennis elbow, and this racquet doesn't seem to cause much aggravation of my condition.
Good enough for me
I've tried several paddles. They are all good in their own way. I would be happy with any of them but I choose this one because it's more affordable for me. I like the pop and the feel of the paddle. It has a larger sweet spot than my old paddle which was rather worn out. I believe the more expensive paddles are not really any better unless you are looking for power or control in a paddle specifically. This paddle has enough power and good control in my opinion.
