Lighter Load Nike brought back the firm midfoot plastic piece seen on past Vapors to provide great stability and transitions when cutting from side to side. The supportive piece also allowed Nike to remove the rubber in the midfoot, which helped reduce the overall weight of the shoe. Transfer the Power A firm foot frame wraps around the supportive midfoot plate and spans from toe-to-heel to give you more of a locked down feel. It helps give you the stability to transfer power during aggressive slides, cuts and pivots. Lightweight Upper The engineered mesh upper is lightweight and durable. Nike reduced weight of the mesh while protecting high-wear zones on the toe tip and medial side. Stick and Cut The Herringbone traction pattern is made of Nike new rubber.
