This is a simple but effective way to learn top spin. Especially valuable if you are training by yourself. It forces you to hit the ball correctly and you can perform the stroke time after time without chasing balls all over the court or having a hitting partner. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the washers and cap that hold the ball in place are quite fragile. The end cap flew off after around 10 minutes and one of the washers also broke. They include a few replacement parts as I guess this is a known issue. If they could improve on this aspect, it would warrant 5 stars. Also I can see that with some practice, the stroke will soon be mastered and then I will likely sell this on to a tennis friend. But not to one of my regular opponents. This will be my own personal secret weapon!
